As a Lead Engagement Owner, Deployment Manager for the Cerner Millennium Cutover Project, you will be a key player in the Sweden Consulting programs’ Engagement Management team. Your role involves close collaboration with project owners, Oracle Health, Client leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of Millennium applications. This position requires working within Swedish business hours, and the candidate should be an EU or EAA citizen or hold dual citizenship for seamless work in Sweden without a work visa. Additionally, 50% travel to Sweden is an integral part of this role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

    • Project Planning and Execution: Own and manage the planning and execution of all tasks related to product deployment, coordinating project owners’ planning and preparation deliverables, time plans, and change readiness management.
    • Collaboration Across Teams: Work with various teams, including Millennium Consulting workstreams, Clinical Consulting, hardware and integrated technologies, learning, managed service, and others, to ensure cohesive project delivery.
    • Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships at multiple levels, instilling confidence in the team’s delivery. Act as a leader and member of the Consulting leadership team.
    • Collaboration and Facilitation: Demonstrate significant collaboration and facilitation skills, engaging subject matter experts across technical and clinical spectrums, both internal and external.
    • Communication and Reporting: Manage project plan management, deliverables and financial status reporting with clients and internal teams. Advise clients on expectations in a consultative role and establish success metrics (KPIs) with various SMEs.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field or equivalent relevant work experience.
    • 6 years of experience in project or program management and consulting-type roles.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships, work in matrix-type organizations, and collaborate across lines and levels to deliver against contract requirements and commitments.
    • Experience managing projects involving Cerner’s implementation methodologies and policies.
    • Familiarity with the use of Microsoft Project products.
