We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Clinical Epic Optimization Consultant who will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through post-live optimization endeavors. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead post-live optimization initiatives, collaborating closely with clients to identify and implement measures that enhance efficiencies, capitalize on technological investments, elevate patient care, and secure a competitive advantage in the local market.
- Foster and nurture client relationships, assuming responsibility for maintaining and cultivating connections. Manage allocated resources and oversee client budgets as required for each engagement.
- Engage at the executive level within client organizations, delivering strategic recommendations, comprehensive project plans, insightful presentations, and regular project status updates.
- Assume a leadership role within a team dedicated to addressing intricate clinical and operational challenges alongside clients. Balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution, provide direction and guidance to ensure the successful execution of jointly agreed-upon strategies.
- Exhibit adeptness in navigating and understanding the dynamic healthcare landscape, adapting your approach to the evolving needs of the clients.
- Utilize your deep understanding of Epic Inpatient Clinical applications across multiple modules to drive impactful optimization and improvements.
- Demonstrate your strong business acumen by making informed decisions on when and where to operate within the client’s context.
Qualifications:
- RN credentials preferred, although consideration will be given to other clinical credentials.
- Possess a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in Epic projects, with a proven track record in both project management and leadership roles.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or demonstrate 12+ years of equivalent industry experience. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Certification in multiple Epic Inpatient applications such as Clinic Doc, Orders, OpTime, and two or more additional clinical applications is highly preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Expertise in analyzing complex clinical and operational challenges and devising strategic solutions that align with business objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, with a proven history of adapting strategies to changing circumstances and requirements.
- Profound understanding of the Epic EHR system and its clinical modules, underpinned by your hands-on experience in implementation and optimization projects.
