IR is looking for a Workday Go Live Command Center Project Manager. You will be responsible for designing, planning, and managing the Workday Go Live Command Center. Your role will encompass developing the project plan, overseeing the buildout of the command center infrastructure, and staffing it with a team capable of supporting the Workday go-live process. This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours per week for a duration of 3 months.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop a comprehensive project plan for the creation and operation of the Workday Go Live Command Center, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Command Center Buildout: Collaborate with IT and facilities teams to ensure the physical infrastructure of the command center is ready for operations. This includes setting up workstations, communication tools, and necessary technology.
- Training: Ensure all command center staff are trained and well-versed in their roles and responsibilities, as well as in the Workday system.
- Communication: Develop and implement a robust communication plan to keep stakeholders informed of command center activities and the go-live process.
- Issue Resolution: Manage and resolve issues and challenges that may arise during the go-live process, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of command center activities, issues, and resolutions for post-implementation analysis.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of the command center, making adjustments as needed to ensure efficient and effective support for the Workday go-live.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to project stakeholders on the status and progress of the command center and go-live activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, with a strong background in overseeing complex projects and teams.
- Experience in managing command center operations during system go-live events.
- Knowledge of Workday HR and finance systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Project management certification (plus).
