Intellect Resources is looking for a Provisioning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in guiding our organization in the design, development, documentation, and testing of an automatic provisioning framework leveraging Workday and Azure. Your expertise in provisioning processes, coupled with your strong understanding of Workday’s capabilities, will be instrumental in optimizing our workforce management operations. This is a 4 month contract with potential to extend, it will be remote with possible event-based travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and Operations, to gather requirements and understand business needs for automatic provisioning.
  • Design and develop a comprehensive model for automatic provisioning utilizing Workday and Azure services, ensuring efficient and accurate onboarding and access management.
  • Create detailed technical documentation outlining the provisioning framework, processes, and integration points, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity.
  • Lead testing efforts, including unit testing and integration testing, to validate the provisioning model and its downstream applications.
  • Work closely with the development team to implement enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the provisioning framework’s performance.
  • Configure and customize Workday’s provisioning modules to align with organizational requirements and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure proper access controls and permissions are enforced throughout the provisioning process.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on utilizing the provisioning framework effectively.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and updates related to Workday and provisioning technologies.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Workday Consultant with a focus on provisioning, including at least 3 years of experience in designing and implementing automatic provisioning frameworks.
  • In-depth understanding of Workday’s provisioning modules and their integration with other systems.
  • Proficiency in Azure services and integration patterns, enabling the seamless interaction between Workday and Azure components.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and workforce management practices within the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and devise effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
  • Relevant Workday certifications, such as Workday Pro or similar, are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and collaborate within a dynamic team environment.
